  1. Love the Question Mark name! Good choice!

  2. Hi Sparky. I was basically joking on the ph call. Though I'd love to hear your voice. Tell you what, I wouldn't want to call at the wrong time and be a nuisance as I have no ideal of your schedule so how about my email.? We can send a mail anytime you or I want. Rob & I email back and forth all the time.  My email is:     bhanslip@gmail.com. If you send me one, I will have yours as well. Thanks

  3. I got off Gibson Board for several weeks now if anyone is interested. The Epiphone Lounge went pretty much dead after Rob got off,  We do continue to email back & forth every day. If anyone desires to email me you can.  If you know Rob's email, you can get mine from him. Much has happened  since then. I'll check in maybe from time to time and see whats going on and it has been a great pleasure knowing everyone here. One thing is I have to cut back on the computer as it affects my eyes and I get blurry vision so I quit FaceBook and cut off here. I'm trying to restrict the computer to learning new songs. Thanks everyone for being friends and giving me so many likes.

  4. In the time I've joined here I made friends and learned a lot and I thank those for helping me learn and reading my posts. Also for all the pluses & likes. I've enjoyed the Epiphone Lounge greatly as many know but lately with Rob being gone, that Lounge has become dead. I've thought about it and decided if I took a long leave here too it would give me more time to spend on Guitar Tricks and learn songs and improve my playing. so with that I am saying goodby to anyone who happens to read this. It just seems several have left here because of this new format and I don't think its so bad honestly  so maybe rarely I may check in but for now I'm going to spend more time playing.  I've done the same with Face Book too.  Also cuts the computer time down.  Thanks to all and goodby for now.

  5. Hello, just curious, so what are the things you like?

  6. What a cute puppy. Welcome to the forum.

  7. Thanks Christopher. I appreciate that.

  8. Thanks G Mac, I appreciate it. Yes he's our only grand baby so far. Grayson will be two Nov.17 I believe. I already have him into trains, "I retired from the Railroad," and Guitars! Deb and I are giving him his 1st guitar this Christmas, just a cheap Ukulele he can strum on with grandpa.

  9. Hello Emma, I read your profile, wanted to see where you were from. When you told Digger you loved house work and dusting, I had to see if you lived in the U.S. Near us. Darn, Darn, Darn.!!!!! Lol

  10. Hello Omaha. Let me be the first to add as your friend. Seems like we have a lot in common and I love the Huskers too.

  11. Hi Cougar. Thanks for the help on the Epiphone. I did get the black Standard, it plays and sounds great. My cousin who taught me to play had a black Gibson with white trim, always thought it was cool. I could have gone a $100.00 over the budget for a Pro, but now have enough extra for a Blues Pedal. Thanks again for your help.

  12. Im guessing I'm supposed to say something here. I am just a Grandpa who plays guitar. Guess that makes me a Guitarist Grandpa, just like a normal Grandpa, except much cooler! Lol

  13. Just want to Thank you for adding me to your friend list.

  14. Hi Searcy, nice to see people from the US on here and I love your posts. I'm from Neb. Because of you guys like you I can now have a profile and post photo to show. The little kid in the photo here is our only grandson, Grayson at 5 months old now. Take care.

  15. Hey Marshall, finally figured out how to post a photo of my Gold Top for my profile picture. Check it out below. Don't have a clue why it doesn't show on the forum posts though.

  16. Hello Marshall, I have been looking at Carvin guitars for awhile. I was just wondering if you have ever played them before and if so what your thoughts were about them compared to a Gibson. I love my LP S but would like to add one more. Either a Carvin or a Strat. I practice mostly on my Fender accoustic which never goes out of tune. Thoughts?

  17. Hello Milod. I love your posts, I consider you to be the wise old owl here! Tuning down one whole step should put a lot less stress on the neck. I still can't figure out the reply issue. Every time I press add reply or the rest of the stuff it goes back to home screen to U Tube and such. What am I doing wrong? By the way I would like to friend you if you want. Hey I love your western p...

  18. Hello. I am new to sight but it says I have 16 posts. Tried to commit on Bruce's cancer in lounge but it won't let me. I was supposed to die with a brain tumor cancer I went through 27 years ago. Went through hell but still here. Wanted to give some encouragement and heard you started the sight so am telling you. They cut a hole in my skull to get the tumor & took 2 cups of bone mar...

  19. Hello Capmaster. This whole computer sight is still a little confusing to me. One more post and it says I can get in the lounge. Hope it's easier. Yesterday I saw on U-Tube, Eric Blackman play a guitar Solo on the 5th fret. Shocked it sounded so great using 6 strings on one fret. So much to learn and practice yet. Thanks again, take care!

  20. Hello Lee. I am a newby also and still figuring out this site. I can tell you there are some really nice folks on here, so welcome!
