  1. Oh, Chinese sounds great. Haven't had it since last Christmas. Not much of a breakfast here. Had to baby sit again this morning, so on the way over I stopped at McDonalds and grabbed an Egg McMuffin and large orange juice and ate it at their house. Lunch was with the wife around 1:00 at home. Hamburgers on the grill with baked beans and a small bowl of tomato soup and small Chicken wrap at Noodles Company.
  2. Turkey Reuben for lunch on rye bread and $1.00 tacos for dinner at Big Red Keno.
  3. I have never tried one. Wife says she used to eat those when she was younger. I heard Elvis loved them. When I was little, I ate Radishes sliced on bread and butter. Today I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast, (which I never do but I had to have something to eat with my last pill.) lunch was a hamburger and fries and dinner was messed up by the wife forgetting it was her parents Anniversary tomorrow, so we had to run out late at night hunting for a store that was still open to buy a card. I may pop some popcorn when I'm done here.
  4. Ha, ha, ha. I ate it Raw! I had a sub turkey sandwich today with a pill again. Have one more pill tonight and I'm done! Yeah!! Had a salad and three tacos tonight. Actually feeling pretty good and not coughing anymore.
  5. Left over La Cassa pizza for Brunch, Three slices and their really small. Then a 6" sub turkey sandwich for dinner with a Penicillin pill with each meal. Lol
  6. Brunch at 10:00 am was a potato casserole with chicken. And dinner at 5:30 pm was a La Casa pizza. That will be leftovers for tomorrow.
  7. Lunch was at Julios Mexican restraint. Got one meal for free on pin points. Basically how we eat out on pinpoints. I had a double enchilada float, which one flour filled enchilada was chicken and the other was beef. Then cheese poured over the top, baked in chill and refried beans and rice on the side. Then a small bowl of chicken noodle soup and a chicken wrap.
  8. The other half of my Cal Zone and 3 tacos for breakfast and dinner. "I have to eat something for breakfast now for my new medication. And a chicken breast and mashed potatos for dinner.
  9. What a cal zone? It's like a pizza, same thing, only they make a crust, like a pie but it's a pizza crust, they fill it with pizza sauce, onion, pepperoni, cheese, sausage, tomato, mushrooms, and green peppers. 7 ingreadiants, hence the Chicago 7 because the restraint is named Old Chicago. Then they put a crust over the top and bake it. So it's really like a pizza pie. You could pick it up by hand and eat it but it comes from the oven to your plate so I eat it with a knife and fork. As its hot. They also place more Sauce in a cup on the side in case you want more to dip into. It's pretty tasty. The buffet at Hi-V was about anything you want. Breakfast items, omlets, spaghetti, oriento, chicken, Ham, fruit, deserts, I had sweet and sour chicken, an omlet and a very small piece of cheese cake. And some fruit.
  10. No breakfast. Kids wanted us to attend their church service and afterwards at High-V for lunch. They were doing a Easter Lunch buffet today and they put in a reservation for it and treated us there. That was nice of them. For dinner, we ended up at Old Chicago and I had half of a Chicago 7 Cal Zone. I'll eat the other half tomorrow for lunch.
  11. Ha, one thing I love about you. You make me laugh! Yea, I can't run anymore either. That's why I just work out on weights. I have a knee problem, don't think I ever told anyone but I had a gun shot accident once many years back. A .41 magnum lead bullet went through my Right knee and exited my upper calf. Somehow the bullet bruised the main artery but Docs said it should have blown the knee cap away and severed the artery which I would have bled out and died in the long trip to the hospital. Yeah I'm a cat with 9 lives, Meow! Two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast for breakfast. Pepper Jacks Steak Philli for lunch/dinner. Mmm,
  12. Too funny. Our son loved it. He was off on his own, hardly saw him and he was trying out pizza, and all kinds of free food. I think they have a track on top deck Rob that you should be able to run around on. At least ours did, and we ran laps everyday. That should help, Lol
  13. At Little Kings I do either, Vinegar and sea salt potato chips, Jalopano potato chips or nachos and cheese. Not much into Fries anymore. Too greasy around here. Today I did a Devil's Spit burger at famous Daves with a appetizer. We ate late at 1:00 since Deb had to go to a funeral and I had to baby sit the grandson from 8:00 to Noon. If our day is busy like that, we always try to use pin points, buy one meal and get the other for free. Famous Daves is on pin point rewards now. A Devils Spit burger is just hot barbecue sauce on it.
  14. Bacon cheese burger, onion rings and a salad at Chedders. Dinner was at Little Kings, 6" sub and chips. Another busy day out and about.
  15. What is Red Eyed Gravy? Never heard of it. When I worked at BNSF Dwane there made the best biscuits and gravy I ever had. Then he quit and took up farming when he was left with the inheritance. Today the wife and I ate at The Noodles Company. I had tomato basil soup and chicken wrap sandwich rolls. Tonight it's Valentinos. It's quick stuff out to eat because of Babysitting and out for a free movie tonight. Busy day.
  16. I love the original Kentucky Fried Chicken when Kernel Sanders owned it. When I worked at Omaha Standard in Council Bluffs, they had one across the street I would go to and come back and eat on the sidewalk with all the guys off Broadway. We very rarely go their anymore but it's still good. There were a few fast food places walking distance across the street then plus they brought in a food wagon for the guys, so we had a lot to choose from. We may not eat at Kentucky but once in four years if that because my wife loves their cole slaw but can't eat it. She's milk lactose tolerant. She doesn't do well with milk or cheese products. Yea, I've been to some restaurants here and saw four to five hundred pound people inside eating and it makes me want to eat less and lite. My wife teaches water aerobics and she had three of them come to her class for awhile way back. They had to hook up a crane host to pick them up out of their wheel chair to put them in and out of the pool. They must have weighed over 600 lbs. maybe 700 lbs. they had special made very wide wheel chairs and they more or less slouched in them.
  17. Went out to Garden Caffe for lunch. I had a Hot Turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and Cranberry sauce and ice tea. Dinner I made a large Chicken Ceaser salad with my favorite French dressing while I watched Robin Hood with Kevin Kostner.
  18. Ha, sorry for your diet and temptation Dig. This thread I actually love. Best one yet I'd get on every day and keep going but if it bothers you we shouldn't temp you! I've lost weight due to my Bronchitis and haven't been too hungry. So far today I've only had one bowl of chicken noodle soup.
  19. Nah, my wife's a great cook and made it for my cold but your lunch sounds much better! Oh, the chicken noodle soup was great but I love Turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli and cauliflower. My favorite meal with chicken is my wife's Chicken and Dumplings, oh, it's to die for!! But Mr. Gibson, I am a great cook on some things, I do Chilli very very good.
  20. Home made chicken noodle soup in a crock pot today for lunch.
  21. Ha, I didn't proof read it. I typed in at Panera Bread but doesn't seem it took "at." That's a problem I have with this computer. It always delets stuff I type or changes the spelling to make it say what it wants. But no, we didn't eat the Panera Bread store. Lol
  22. We redesigned our schedule after we retired. When I was working I always ate breakfast, lunch and dinner. But that was too much when I retired so now, I don't eat breakfast at all. I'll have a cup of tea or coffee, maybe a banana once in awhile but then eat a brunch as we call it. Anywhere from 10:30 to 11:30 we eat a big lunch and that is filling till around 5:00 ish, and then we have a lighter dinner. Maybe a sandwhich or something, so we're actually turning lunch into dinner and dinner into lunch. That way we have less before bedtime in our stomach and keep our weight the same everyday with more energy through the day. I just figure everyone has to do what works best for them. But that Dairy Queen is rare for us, and we hardly ever do deserts.
  23. Today's lunch was Panera Bread with the wife. A small bowl of Chicken Noodle soup and a Sierra Turkey sandwich.
  24. No idea why they call it that. It's pistachio pudding mixed with cool whip, marshmallows and pineapple and very good tasting. More of a desert actually. Over here though, they have it with described above and its green with Pistachio, or they have it in cherry, but they call them Watergate salads. Not sure what is in the slush but they tell me it's mostly sugar. But it's a frozen slush and they put vanilla ice cream in the middle. Dairy Queen used to make them and they called it a Mister Misty Float. Then they quit. Now they just make the slush, and call it an Artic Rush. So the one close by us, after I described to them what they used to make, makes it for me. They said it is actually a Artic Rush Float, and they usually blend the slush and ice cream together. But for me they don't blend them and you can eat it with a spoon and straw. You can get them in any flavor, but it's a desert you eat slow as those ice cream headaches come very quick!
