  2. If you're on a budget and are replacing the pickups then why not just get an Epiphone Les Paul? Unless the Gibson Name on the headstock is all that important...
  3. We have several Guitar Centers in this area. The product selection is great but the customer service varies...usually pretty bad. Employees are often helpful, but not very knowledgeable and seem to be more interested in a commission type sale. Plus there always seems to be a couple of kids cranked up and doing their own Heavy Metal shows on the floor. That along with the house music makes it hard (for old fart like me) to think and talk. It's amazing how many of the instruments have been damaged by the abuse...when I actually get ready to buy then I'll go to a local guitar shop or show and shop around...
