  1. Thanks for the links and advice, bros! I plan to get new bridge and tailpiece soon in the future. in maybe 2 years at most. :)
  2. I just got schaller strap locks for my Gibson custom. It's one of this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Genuine-Schaller-Strap-Security-Lock-System-for-Guitar-Bass-GERMANY-GOLD/291774390568?epid=1600057970&hash=item43ef1be128:g:zU8AAOSwn1RXIs5b Is this any good for my Gibson les paul? I thought maybe something more expensive would suit my les paul more. :)
  3. I prefer Gibson. I don't know what is the difference between ABR-1 and Tune-o-matic. I notice there are different price levels for the Gibson tail pieces and bridge. What is that about? I think there should be one kind just different color choices.
  4. I checked ebay and there so many kinds but I really can't tell the difference. some bridges/tailpieces are cheaper others more expensive but they look the same. where can I buy a bridge and tailpiece for my Gibson custom and grover tuners? the color I want is nickel. Thanks in advance.
  5. It's new and has never been used. I don't think my recording studio will ever come to be. It's a great recording interface and it's on ebay now. http://www.ebay.com/itm/162824921127?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649
  6. I'd put 9-42 on a strat. but on a les paul, I think it should work just as fine as 10-46's. but i'd rather stick to 10-46's on fixed bridge guitars.
  7. maybe I shouldn't post in this thread since I don't know who Goldy McJohn is. but whenever I hear of a great musician for the first time, I really appreciate it. RIP to Goldy McJohn.
  8. I use 10-46's on my les paul coz that's what it had from the start. but how does 9-42's do on a Gibson les paul? I feel use 10's on guitars for a beefier sound whenever you can. I think 9-42 is for Floyd rose equipped guitars.
  9. Yeah... I was using my Ibanez s470 that I got on ebay 2 years ago.
  10. I recorded this last month. I play eruption and other licks for fun. please check it out, and leave a comment if you want! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSKuDURuPYw&t=1s
  11. Sorry i decided to take out the video. It's a high gain amp but it's running on the clean channel. just using pedals for the gain.
  12. Me playing it of course. It's on youtube. Does it sound right? one thing i can say about my les paul is the mids are loud. but still vintage style output. https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=qQO1WAu3A2M
  13. I bought a gibson les paul custom on sweetwater last year. I used it a bit so the pickup covers and bridge (which are gold) are fading. was it a right choice for me to use the guitar? or should i have kept it as a collectors item and not used it much?
  14. It's the lowest priced gibson les paul in the line, that's why its not wise to buy it. that's the way i think at least.
  15. Yes it's the cover that covers the toggle switch.
