  1. I have a late 60's Les Paul Custom I have been trying to date. How exactly do I determine which tenon is on my Paul. The example pic's I've seen onlineappear to be dissected views. Is this an accurate method for dating this era LPC's? Thanks guys for your advice Chuck E Ball

  3. Thanks for the advice guys. So glad I found this place!
  4. Should I try to find an original era nut to replace it? I am looking to sell this guitar. This appears to be the only change that has been made to the guitar. Does it effect the value that much? Thanks for your opinions and advice !
  5. My Les Paul (I believe it's a 1969, as per my earlier post) has a brass nut that a friend thinks may be a mod. Did they come stock this way, or was it an option for this era?
  6. Can you try to post some pics again or maybe a link to another site like photobucket where you can upload pics for viewing?
  7. It doesn't look like mine at all. Wrong headstock, different body contours, fret markers are aligned along the very top of fretboard on mine as well. But a very cool old Gibson for sure
  8. I want to post ! Please help!
