  1. Initial lineup has been released and what a great year it will be for SGs!! The color palette for the HP Standards are great with a really modern look that finally works. The mini humbucker models are back and the natural finish one looks stellar!! What do ya'll think?
  2. Just saw the Les Paul Classic line with p-90s!!! WoW!! I hope the SG lines get a P-90 model....
  3. So frikkin stoked!!!!! There are 2 early pics floating on the net and this is one. I can not substantiate validity, but WOW!! Natural finish special 70s tribute with minis!!! It's gonna be a good SG year!!!
  4. I'm beside myself. My email is sitar@mac.com for any anonymous help on this!!!!!!
  5. As many of you probably do, I cruise Reverb at least once a day. My wish/watch list is massive...if only I had endless thousands. Anyway, I've noticed that guitars start off priced at what they were bought for. After a month, it drops a little. It keeps dropping until it's around the 60-65% of what it was bought for. Then it sells. If it isn't dropped to that level, it seems to never sell. I'm sure there have been reasonable sales, but the ones I've monitored, you are never anywhere near the bought price. Which is good for buyer, but bad for seller.,.,not sure why I posted....just something I noticed.

I can tell you this. If you send that guitar to lapidary dreams (I think that's their name). They will disassemble the guitar, sand down the etching, restain with original dyes, gloss it, clean it up, put on new pick guard. Pot it correctly to speck, put proper knobs on it. It will cost you about 1000$. You could then sell it for a price that is worth while. In it's present state, its not worth much at all.
  8. And it looks color splotchy, but it's actually the 3D effect of the grain and the stain. When I turn the guitar away from the light it lightens and evens...amazing actually.....
  9. Thank you....but as you can see, it really does the job!!
