  1. Thank you sir for the mini concert featuring your EL-00. Really enjoyed listening while eating my breakfast this morning. You and your EL sounded great. Cheers! Ron aka “Zippydog”
  2. It is a great little guitar and I don’t think a lot were purchased in the US maybe in other countries? When I looked into buying one in late 2015, my local Guitar Center was able to locate just one and it was the only one so I ordered it. When I got it, I was pretty amazed at the quality of the build. The only thing I have done to it is replace the saddle and nut with bone versions, de-glossed the finish to satin and swapped the pick guard to an ivory color to match the binding. OP, I would love to see a picture of your white Dove Pro if that is possible.
  3. Hey JJ, I have the same Ltd. Edition EL-00 Pro in natural finish as well. Do you have any idea how many were made? I love that little guitar.
  4. I put copper tape on the back of my 2019 LP Jr. Tribute and cut the little static pops I had. I did not try to run a fancy ground connection either, just taped as much as I could. Phones (think wifi and BT) in pockets and playing right up against the amp is not helpful either.
  5. Cool pup! How does it sound? Give us a demo and a review!
  6. FYI After a closer examination it appears that the white and blacks are jackets. Both contain a bare ground and a white wire which I believe to be hot based on where they are soldered to. Also, the black jacket is the bridge. Carry on.
  7. There are two P90’s in my LP yet I only see one black and one white wire coming from the hole leading to my control cavity. Is one wire a neck and the other the bridge? Which is which? Anybody ever take one or both soap bars out? What do the wires look like coming out of the pickups? I’m about to replace a bad selector switch. Thanks
  8. Had to see what all this P90 fuss was all about. Now I know. https://www.use.com/OiFbO
  9. Nice going OP. So this is an earlier EL-00? Cool. Is it a spruce topper? I see it comes with white tuner buttons in stead of the chrome Grover beans. How does t sound. Tell us more about it.
  10. I wonder if the original owner just put a decal on the headstock. It does look like a regular run of the mill EL-00 vintage sunburst.
  11. Well bust my britches. Never did before? Damn you Google Drive! Let me try another way. Hang on. Try this. https://www.use.com/OiE3d https://www.use.com/OiE3h
  12. Here are his pictures. Nice EL-00. https://drive.google.com/open?id=193HPTP2KsRO4StU00-E5a-17TMG5wqbA https://drive.google.com/open?id=1TUPQaCs8r5cwvdAZHupdaCiAOLZ3_Yks
  13. Is this section broken? When I open it it screams ERROR! Thanks.
  14. I actually really like these tuners. They so far have done a good job keeping my LPJ in proper tune. Thats why I was curious as to who made them.
  15. Thanks for that information, I appreciate it.
  16. Yeah me neither. Well the mystery remains.
  17. Thanks man. Do you thinks that Gibson would install Gotohs on a new guitar?
  18. Hello Gibson aficionados, Can anybody fill me in as to the make of tuners the Gibson Factory installed on my 2019 Les Paul Tribute Junior? They have no name on the back of the casing and are attached using pressed in sleeves instead of nut and washer. https://www.use.com/OiC0J
  19. I added this Pigtail wrap around bridge from Stew Mac to my LP Special II. It fits no issues.
  20. Just wanted to reintroduce my 2006 since my Photobucket images disappeared. Love this axe. https://www.use.com/N547a

  22. Your talking about the Lea Paul Special 1 available in black, red or yellow. I own one and it’s a fun guitar.
  23. Hey Wildkat, I didn't actually perform the adjustment but I watched my son. He took a piece of flat glass and laid a piece of 800 grit sandpaper on top. Using a small block of wood behind the saddle to keep it vertical and straight, he rubbed until he took off what he estimated needed to be removed. Placed it back in the slot and I was in business it didn't look that hard for him at least. Guess you need to know how much to take off. A little at a time I guess. He also tweaked the neck a tiny bit. Worked well. Good luck if you try it.
  24. I recently purchased an ELP Special 1that I did a few mods on. I found a few frets that were high that had to be dressed. It was causing dead notes here and there. It's not perfect but better. I really like the little thing.
  25. Yes each guitar needs it’s own set up for sure. My electrics range between low and medium. I guess the lesson here is it pays to experiment. The EL-00 IS a fabulous little guitar.
