  1. Still not working for me 😞
  2. I have the same kind of troubles. So i use the recover password feature, and then i get in with a new PWD. But when i sign out and sign-in again, then it never works and i have to use the recover feature again. I only have troubles with these Gibson forums, and only since it changed to new forum. It is not a cookie question i believe, because i tried several internet soft (chrome, M$ Edge, etc...) and same problem.
  3. Yup used till 2015 models. It was switched to VTC with 2016 model.
  4. Sometimes it is just a washer on the plug jack. There is usually 2, but one of them is enough. Removing one did the job for me. I also thought it was about the setup or something, but it was just the darn washer.
  5. Do you have a piezzo on it ? Maybe check the jack/plug input thing. You can unscrew it, there is 2 washers, one of them is not necessary and often causes this "buzz" thing. Long time ago i thought my guitar had an issue with the nut or saddle, but finally it was one of these washers and removing one of them solved the problem on my hummingbird.
  6. Would like too, but i'm too lazy to connect to Spotify
  7. Nice axe :) beautiful back. By the way if you ever get the 2-ways hum., keep case closed when playing, with the 2-ways inside the case. It will keep case at right humidity and most importantly, save your 2-ways as well. Mine lasted about 1 year (instead of the 3 months advertized), but where i live there is no much humidity changes.
  8. If humidity is high you might want to try d'addario 2-ways humidifyer if you have no device inside your case yet, and keep case closed when not playing... 70% seems rather high. Action increase that you describe seems a lot to me, but i have no idea wether humidity could cause such an increase. How is neck bow, did you check with a rule? Did you change strings gauge lately? edit : djw kinda beat me at it
  9. Anyone knows about these ? It looks like they would work without drilling additional hole ? https://www.amazon.com/TK-0884-002-Gotoh-Vintage-Style-Keys/dp/B01M1BT6W5
  10. Wow that's nice, thank you much for sharing about this SirNed. He would deserved to have his name signed on these piece-of-art pickguards. Wish my hummy was older with a hand-made pièce by this Master.
  11. Didnt check here for a while, very nice track, easy on the ears, nicely played and singer has a sweet voice which reminds me of the cranberries somewhat.
  12. Yes they add glue drop to make it look like "handcrafted".
  13. I wouldnt care about the glue inside the body, but i would for the neck. It does not match the standards we expect from such highly priced guitar. I would give Gibson a call, you bought it new, and wherever you did buy, they will surely try to help because i'm pretty sure they don't like to have unhappy customers... I'm confident they do care. Sound and tone is everything, but even if you're in love with it, you're right to ask for flaws to be fixed... it is a brand new guitar
  14. Merci mon ami ! Appreciate the quality of your french, are you fluent? Thank you Kwalker as well for the kind words.
  15. Aww thank you very much for the kind words. I really think i'm one of those people with no gift at all voice wise, always found mine horrible and used to sing very out of pitch... Some in these forums like Sal have a so nice timber in comparison. With work it gets better slowly years after years but i need to work on it and you're right lessons would be the way to go. I try to listen to my records and try to correct the pitch afterward till it gets better when i work on a song with the hope it does not hurt the ears but it is not always easy. Did not used any effect, just hummy and h2n recording. Thanks very much for listening.
  16. Never posted anything till now... I've been listening, learning and geting much inspiration off the great musicians in there, but as it seems unfair, here we go. Nothing fancy, this is a small cover on the fly with the hummy and a zoom h2n of Radiohead "end music". Sorry as well for my french accent...
  17. This is why i thought that for for the price, a boss RC-1 might be the one to start with. The LEDs visuals help and automatic start as well are about all i need i think; just worried about the sound quality, and how difficult it is to stop a loop. Looks like tone wise many are satisfied with the ditto...
  18. Seems difficult, her looper windows 10 crashes at 1:47
  19. Thanks for this, didnt know ditto's were that good because the price is often lower than other brands. Will have a look at them. Boss ve7 or ve8 seem nice but more expensive; i'd rather go with a cheaper model for a start.
  20. Hello, i'm looking for a looper for my acoustics. I would like to get one that respect as much as possible guitar tone, at a reasonable price, and preferably easy to use, not looking for top high end with all effects and thousands memory, just a looper. Was looking at boss rc1, rc3, rc30... and jamman solo xt or stereo... Any of you uses one ?
  21. I got a standard 2015 (built in 2016, but 2015 model) and i tried the 2016 "new model", i didnt have both to compare next to next though, but the new seemed lighter to me when i took it in hands, i got surprised. Dunno if it was the case though. Couldnt see much difference either in tone or projection, both have this hummy wibe in them and seemed close. Couldnt see any difference either with the edges things on fretboard, nor in wood appearance (2015 was AAA, 2016 AA, but looked same to me); im no expert though. Since they were built same year, maybe the main difference was about the pickup...
  22. Get the one you prefer, tone wise... But if it were me i'd prolly go for the 2016 hummy... The new models are so light weight, they are very good and the hummingbird is supposed to be hog back and sides, but it's true that quilted one looks awesome. Still, quilted is mapple, not hog. I think this is quilted hummingbird, not 100% sure though :
  23. Can't affort... a 63'hummingbird can be pricey these days : http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/63-Hummingbird-Ct-Highlands-NC-28741/65648219_zpid/ Oh sorry, wrong thread
