  1. It seems that prices are all over the place from $1,700 - $2,500. Thanks for the replies.
  2. Yeah reverb prices are insane as of late. If you look at sold ones and it will be much lower. I was just wondering what they;re going for on forums where sellers and buyers don't have to deal with fees and taxes much.
  3. What are used birds (2000 and up) going for these days? I'm thinking $,1700-$2,100, but prices are all over the place. Thanks

  5. So can someone recommend couple of good Gibson dealers for those new vintage J-45's? Thanks
  6. Yep, two vintage ones I'm looking for all had their ADJ saddle replaced with bone long ones.
  7. That helps a lot. Yeah I've seen your bird on AGF and reverb and on Youtube. Very nice sound and you have great voice as well :) And just as with new torrified J-45, the bird also seemed much more authentic sounding than previous vintage copies of the same. At least on videos.
  8. It's not a dealer, but a used (well almost brand new) from a private party. Just wanted to see what new ones are going for so I can make a better judgment for used ones.
  9. I'm actually looking into late 50's early 60's J-45s. I have asked few sound samples so we'll see what happens, but these 2016 vintage ones really hit it out of the park. They sound MUCh better than TV or other attempts from before.
  10. That's true. I'll just use my best judgment I guess, but from what I've heard on YouTube and from various online clips, I really love the tone.
  11. Thanks. That is what I figured as well. The reason why I ask is becasue I want to know what to expect for a used one when making an offer. I don't want to inadvertently low ball people, but also don't want to overpay.
  12. What is the ongoing good dealer price for new Gibson J-45 Vintage 2016/2017? Not TVs or new Vintage, but new ones with terrified tops. These: http://www.gibson.com/Products/Acoustic-Instruments/2016/J-45-Vintage.aspx MSRP seem to me $3,999 I can take answer in PM if prices not allowed to be discussed here. Thanks in advance,
  13. Great. That might work actually. Thanks
  14. I know the nut is around 1.72mm which is great, but for the life of me I cannot find what is the string spacing at the saddle on these new 2016 models. Wide I hope. Thanks
