  1. Ive always liked this guitar apart from the 2 scratch plates, if the top one was removed would it be finished underneath as the rest of the guitar ?
  2. And where do they sell Blue chips picks in the UK ?
  3. I need some bone bridge pins for my J45, where is the best place to get them in the UK ? And does anyone know the correct measurements for these pins, as the plastic ones that I removed from the guitar are very loose fitting, Ive always thought that they are supposed to fit snug ! Thanks..
  4. Sorry for repeated posts I clicked "Submit post" and nothing happened ? so I kept clicking ? Also couldn't find anywhere to delete or remove them ?
  5. Hi All, I have just acquired a Gibson J-45 Custom, and I have just completed a full set-up to my satisfaction, however I have a problem with the 2 top machine heads ( D & G ) with no strings on them they all wind very smooth, but as soon as I fit the strings and bring them to pitch, the D & G keys get very tight, they are very difficult to turn ? but the others are fine, they move very smooth like they should. I have tried oiling the offending keys but it made no difference ? Any idea's guys ??

DONT take tablets with booz.. and.. put a bag of frozen peas on your bandage (not directly on your skin) once a day for about 20min (thats all) Then.. REST... REST... REST!! (most important!!) Beleive me its the fastest way to get it repaired!
