  1. they only really have one metric size for the tail pieces ,... M8x1.25 with a stud spacing of 82.55mm (3 1/4") part number 0168 for normal or 5740 for aluminum one.. looking at the stewmac site there are some comments and reviews where pleased customers have said that these parts drop right in without any hassle. good luck
  2. looking at the schematic gotoh tunematic bridge part 1511 should drop right in.
  3. Basically you are looking for metric with 6mm diameter posts...almost all epi's use a 74mm center to center bridge post spacing. And if for some reason it won't quite go the bridges and tail pieces are usually supplied with their own bushings anyway.

  5. oh dear...I'm going grey and I'm wearing beige shoes. does that mean I'm officially middle aged?

  6. Well, I played electric guitar [LOUD] all afternoon and geeked out on valve amps all afternoon with an old buddy, now pizzas and beer for dinner, next up is a cuddle from my two gorgeous little blondies, then a cuddle from my wife. ....... Life simply does not get better than this. :-D

  7. bom-bom bom-bom bom-bom bom-bom , rum-bom bom-bom bom...Mr Sandman bring me a car, make it the cheapest, cheapest by far. Mr Sandman bring me a car, a long MOT, and make it drive far. rom-bom bom-bom bom-bom

  8. The reason my kitchen looks like that, is because if all the dishes were clean at the same time, there wouldn't be room to put them all away..

  9. Watching a sitcom tonight.bloke 1.."women like candle light don't they?"bloke 2.."Yes, and some gentle background music too"bloke 1.."hmm yea, A night in with with your wife is a bit like being partially sighted and a bit deaf."rofl

  10. I am tempted to buy one just for the neck and build myself an epi parts-caster. Some had neck throughs and double locking trem's n stuff too. Edit. Ps here is some good reading from Robins unoficial epiphone wiki. My link
  11. They cover a wide price range, from extreme budget to nicely made. I had a s200 when I was a kid , it was a budget model but the neck was nice, on the down side the body was a sort of plywood style laminate and the electrics and pickups were a bit nasty. However the ones which were higher budget address most of those issues. A cheap one could be found on eBay and fixed up onto a nice guitar for not much.
  12. define "Geek"... well alyson and I just took a 2 minute break in the middle of our movie to check our FB. I reckon that must be high on the list. LMAO

  13. anyone know a good cream to use for spots, i have a big hairy one on my bum cheek :O

  14. nice info Blueman [thumbup]
  15. You might be able to buy a nice aftermarket block and modify it.
  16. Gee that is a shame. However there is hope that this guitar will live again. I am not sure but that looks like an epiphone "bender" trem. Personaly I would fit a new aftermarket trem. There are trems to fit most guitars available at whammi world. It is also possible to get various Wilkinson trems with different post and string spacings, it is also possible to pull out the old trem posts and glue in a Dowell and re-drill new holes to fit a modern rose. can you post up more photos of the guitar and the trem rout
  17. Most of the epi brethren are hanging over in MLPat the moment.

  18. Thankyou for all your Birthday wishes....I did indeed have a good day, ..went to Black isle, took a walk on the beach with Jade, Mum, and the little ones. then when I came home from work there was a nice bottle of Malt waiting for me..... SLAINTE .

  19. Well, I had some fun last night. While out driving the ASDA wagon, I really really really needed to pee, so the closest place I could think of at the time was the Tesco store up at Inshes...., Pulled into the car park, and hid the van up near the recycle bins, made it swiftly across the car park with out incident (so far, so good). Then when i went into the store all the alarms started going crazy, It was then that i remembered that the van key is tagged (eek!). So...

  22. A question to all who are knowledgeable on cars.Approximately how much would a 1999 VW sharan 1.8 turbo sport (petrol) with 139,000 miles be worth on todays market. I have googled it and I'm getting answers that are vastly different. assuming average dondition for age?

  24. Can you post some pics of the strap button, sounds like it could be from a straplock system...which required the a corresponding part to be attached to the strap. Strap button replacement is an easy mod . That tone control thingy is a "kill switch", used to rapidly switch the guitar on and off while playing, it's quite popular amongst younger metasl fans. like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HujX0LMPOY
