  1. Hello all! My name is Cory, I'm from St Louis MO and I've just recently become a first time Gibson owner. I purchased a mint condition 1952 L-48 arch top and I just love it! I've always played Martins and love Martins still but wanted an old Gibson. Just something about an old Gibson that's always been very attractive to me. So I purchased this beauty and couldn't be happier. Well I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone and say hello to all the Gibson Lovers out there! Cheers!

  3. Thank you all for the help! Sorry I'm a newb 😩 I've decided to keep the L-48 tho and raise the action a bit and learn some Blues slide stuff. I've mainly played rhythm all my years of playing but want to get into some more complex stuff. I've never used a pick and strictly finger pick which my buddy told me would make me a great candidate for some slide. Watched some Tedeschi Trucks band vids on YouTube and Derek Trucks will sure make ya wanna learn slide!
