Hey the one second from the right has slightly smaller inlay. so does mine why are some like that? whats the differnce?

Hey I have a question.... I have a les paul studio. the neck inlay is trapazoid blocks, but they are slightly smaller than most other studio inlays i have seen anybody know what the deal is with that?
