When Dolly said she was doing a rock album to go with her introduction into the Fall of Fame, I was amazed at the list of rockers wanting to help her. There's a lot of respect for her.

I Saw The Big Boy And Signs For The Mothman Museum
Ceptorman replied to Sgt. Pepper's topic in The Gibson Lounge
I recently moved to the south west from the mid west. One of the things I miss is my monthly trip to White Castle. Now I have to get them frozen. They're ok but just not exactly the same. Anytime I went from Indy to the southeast part of the state, I usually planned a trip to the Big Boy restaurant in Greensburg Indiana. I usually got the Super Big Boy, their fish sandwich is good also. -
I don't know, but it sure can move the soul. I love Honda products.

I heard leaving the guitar plugged in activates the battery, even if the amp is off.
-
Interesting. I might change my mind and go with the J-45 CE because it has the body mounted pre-amp. I assume the battery in in that location.
-
How hard is it to change a battery? I assume the strings will need to be loose? Re-string when the battery dies?

My lunch wouldn't fit in a Civic 😄

I do have a Honda VFR in the garage that gets between 35-48 mpg......depending on how I ride it 😄

Does anybody use the electronics on these IBG guitars? Especially the under saddle stye? How do you like it?

I did order the new Chevy Silverado all electric truck last year, should be available in spring of 24. I did that after driving my work truck for one month straight last year and spent $1200 in fuel in just that truck! I was working 90 miles from home. I normally drive the smaller truck for better gas mileage but couldn't on this job. The smaller 1/2 ton truck gets around 22 mpg on the highway, the other, half that.

How much lumber will your Honda haul? You girly guys know who to call when you need something nice built, like a high end outdoor kitchen!

Who you're invisible to younger women!

When you get out of the barbers chair and all the hair on the floor is gray.

Real men drives trucks! Both of my vehicles are GMC trucks, one with a 5.3 and one with a 6.0. Modern trucks are pretty comfy and drive well. Even when the wife and I go somewhere we sometimes drive my truck.

When you check in at your doctors office and the 20 year old receptionist gives you that "you're my grandfathers age" look when she asks your age. It's odd, in my mind I still think I'm 30 years old.

I never liked the idea of smashing your instruments either. I wonder how many Pete Townshend smashed?

Help with price on a Martin D 28 150th Anniversary ed?
Ceptorman replied to PrairieDog's topic in Gibson Acoustic
Perfect example why we need to play the guitar we are buying, especially one in that price range. I wonder what changed your opinion on this guitar? -
I caught on fast when ice cream started coming out in 48 oz sizes instead of 64oz. It didn't last as long. Am I the only one that buys a type that the wife doesn't like, and leave the spoon in the container for the next visit?

I heard Ed Sheerin was getting his own channel, now I know where they're putting him.

I have a feeling they are 10mm.

I just watched it. I thought it was pretty good. The background players didn't bother me at all, if they weren't there, it would be boring. The narrator seemed knowledgable and overall the show was well done.

I liked Daryl's home remodeling show.

Opinions on what looks like factory blemish on this Epiphone?
Ceptorman replied to idontno's topic in Epiphone Electrics
That's a tough call. I think that type of blemish is more common on Gibsons than Epiphones. I've seen that type of blemish on a couple Gibsons and the factory said the guitar is fine structurally. Is there anyway to try the guitar out for a week to see if it holds a tune? -
I'll take #3 please.....

I think he's looking for books about the history of guitars and not the technique of playing.
