  1. I recently moved to the south west from the mid west. One of the things I miss is my monthly trip to White Castle. Now I have to get them frozen. They're ok but just not exactly the same. Anytime I went from Indy to the southeast part of the state, I usually planned a trip to the Big Boy restaurant in Greensburg Indiana. I usually got the Super Big Boy, their fish sandwich is good also.
  2. I heard leaving the guitar plugged in activates the battery, even if the amp is off.
  3. Interesting. I might change my mind and go with the J-45 CE because it has the body mounted pre-amp. I assume the battery in in that location.
  4. How hard is it to change a battery? I assume the strings will need to be loose? Re-string when the battery dies?
  5. Does anybody use the electronics on these IBG guitars? Especially the under saddle stye? How do you like it?
  6. When you get out of the barbers chair and all the hair on the floor is gray.
  7. When you check in at your doctors office and the 20 year old receptionist gives you that "you're my grandfathers age" look when she asks your age. It's odd, in my mind I still think I'm 30 years old.
  8. I never liked the idea of smashing your instruments either. I wonder how many Pete Townshend smashed?
  9. Perfect example why we need to play the guitar we are buying, especially one in that price range. I wonder what changed your opinion on this guitar?
  10. I have a feeling they are 10mm.
  11. I just watched it. I thought it was pretty good. The background players didn't bother me at all, if they weren't there, it would be boring. The narrator seemed knowledgable and overall the show was well done.
  12. I liked Daryl's home remodeling show.
  13. That's a tough call. I think that type of blemish is more common on Gibsons than Epiphones. I've seen that type of blemish on a couple Gibsons and the factory said the guitar is fine structurally. Is there anyway to try the guitar out for a week to see if it holds a tune?
  14. I think he's looking for books about the history of guitars and not the technique of playing.
  15. Have you been throwing hints to Santa about what guitar would look good under the tree?
  16. Just think if the Beatles never showed up, we probably would have bands like Zeppelin, The Who, Queen, Kinks, Dire Straits, Foghat, even the Stones should thank the Beatles. As you can tell, I'm a big fan of British Rock!
  17. Wasn't it John that replied to a question someone asked if Ringo was the best drummer in the world? "He's not even the best drummer in the band"!
  18. I like the show, and his interaction with his guest. But he always makes the song they're playing sound just like a Hall and Oats song.
  19. Nice video, a lot of interesting stuff for sure. Man that guy doesn't miss a thing!
  20. It will save the $3 fee for a new one! Plus it had a cool retro hand written look.
  21. According to a video on here about this guitar, it should have that poker chip in the goody bag.
  22. Even though they may not be my favorite band, I really admire what they did, and I do like quite a few of their songs. I am more of a Zeppelin, Who, Queen fan.
