  1. The J45 sounded a little livelier, more musical, I definitely heard the highs better. Both sounded great, nice demo.
  2. It's funny you say "new Stones album". This past week had Jagger on the Tonight Show, and Jagger, Wood, and Richards on another show promoting their new album.
  3. Bikes (motorcycles) not bicycles. Sorry....
  4. The Tail of the Dragon (Highway 129) going from Knoxville into Deal's Gap NC gets so much traffic just to see what their car or bike can do in the twisties. Once you get on that highway, you can't off of it for about 11 miles, there are no cross streets just small parking areas every few blocks or so. There's a guy that runs a photography business that takes a picture of every vehicle that drives through there, he sets up his camera on a curve. You can go online a get a photo of your ride. His company name is Killboy.com! Just don't go off the road at Gravity Cavity, it's a long way down😄
  5. That's all over Facebook, and another giving away a LP Standard. Welcome Scott, even though you have been on here for 10 years!
  6. Who owns the rights to their albums? Didn't they sell the whole package?
  7. I recently moved from the midwest to south Texas, what's this color thing you guys are talking about? I miss the greenery.
  8. Awesome. I'm out in the southwest and in the summer it's too hot to ride!
  9. If you're a motorcyclist, this is the best place in this country to be. People come from around the world to ride the Dragon. The Cherokee Parkway and Skyway are other bike roads. Plus the people are so friendly around there.
  10. Beautiful part of the country. Did you travel highway 129 Tale of the Dragon? You would remember the 318 turns in 11 miles!
  11. But Stevie could sing a little, not as good as Christine though. Who's the greatest? Tracy Partridge? 😄
  12. It's amazing that a guitar that cost 1/4 the price can be as good or better than the expensive one.
  13. Frank died in 1993, I thought he was a younger man when he died. Who ended up with all his music gear? His guitars would be worth some good money. I hate hearing these stories about siblings fighting over money their parents estates. It sounds like Gail didn't do the right thing either. Frank and Dweezil were close correct?
  14. Buckingham is exceptional, and underrated. I think there are many that don't get enough recognition.....Alex Lifeson, Brian May, Neal Schon. The 70s rock scene produced a lot of great guitarist. Buckingham did it all, wrote, sang, engineered, and I like his playing style. He never overplayed, just his portion of what the band needed. I was never a huge fan of Fleetwood Mac back then, but I am now. I think Christine McVie was the glue that held that band together.
  15. I have to say Jimmy Page all day long. I would put Jeff Beck in front of Hendrix. I was watching that Kennedy Center honors Led Zeppelin segment yesterday, and watching what Page was doing is astonishing. I saw Jeff Beck in concert 4 years ago, and his "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" rendition had the crowd speechless. He had blood dripping down his clothes by the end of the night. He still gives it his all. I have another opinion that won't be popular....I think Clapton is overrated! He was the 3rd best guitarist from the Yardbirds!
  16. Who is this gray haired guy in the mirror? Is that my Dad?
