First: Judas Priest / Iron Maiden double bill... a different life, not my current musical tastes Weirdest: Going to see my room mates band do an open mic.... wearing meat products for clothes, and the highlight being the finale 'I want to be your dog'by iggy pop and them throwing dog bones to the audience. Good times. First nailed: Where is my mind by the Pixies

Interstate "jamming" with the 1962 Hummingbird -- Explination added
uncle fester replied to tpbiii's topic in Gibson Acoustic
Well done Tom, that bottom one is my absolute favorite... by the time the harmonica came in was lost in the song and couldn't tell it wasn't all done in the same room. -
Sanded and stained a bunch of outdoor hardwood things - porch, couple of tables, .... decided mahogany is good for outdoor purposes, oak - not so much.

Being home I got motivated to get my road bike out, clean it up and actually just went for my 3rd ride. Only 8 miles each, but between last time I rode them (when a 30 mile ride was a tune up) to now where 8 miles is the end of the earth, I had kids, raised them a bit, got old, fat and crinkly. so hey... 8 miles!

What are you doing with your eqipment in the end?
uncle fester replied to kefta4ever's topic in The Gibson Lounge
I only own a couple things, but feel they're nice things - so will try to make sure they will go to someone who will appreciate them. None of my kids play so they're not on the list. They pissed me off yesterday so they'd be off the list anyways. -
With respect to positives - is it's forced my company to evolve into modern work from home practices. Their current policy was 1 day per week, but now it's 100% at home, and more work is getting done, so they're evaluating policies. I love working from home, but do appreciate a day or two a week in the office.

If it did work, and then didn't, and then did again - i would expect it to stop working again. A new guitar should fix it though, or at least make it manageable.

Still loving this. Went down to Austin a couple times a few years back... wish I knew his name then, bet I could've caught a show. -

I agree with you BK, you would think it would be an option. Out of curiosity, could you get one to these specs out of the custom shop, and what would that run - any ideas?

Fleetwood Mac - Rumors... heard a couple songs from the album and really reminded me how good that one was. Sparq... I love to put an artist into Pandora and have it build a playlist for me while I'm on the eliptical. Have been introduced to more than one new artist, along with the different tempos of the songs changes up the excercies cadence. -
Hey Tom - are you able to have opinions on the J-55 yet, or is it when you are able to get into a jam type setting with multiple instruments that you'll draw your conclusions? just curious. rgds - b

BTW Buc - Looking at your set list, if you're ever looking for something to do, would love to hear your versions of 'I'm so tired' and 'watchtower'... no pressure, just saying.
