  2. The current model lineup should be around for a while as they just created it. That being said, nothing is ever in stone ... especially these days.
  3. Yes, me too. I also downloaded Bob Dylan live in Manchester, England 1966 (the fiery electric set backed by the Band), along with six additional tracks from 1975 (his "Rolling Thunder Revue" tour recorded at the Budokan Theater in Japan). It is a great mix of live and very electric Bob Dylan. I called this new album "Bob Dylan - Live in 1966 and 1975" in my iTunes library. Great album...
  4. I have listened to it a number of times. Yes, it is quite good ... shockingly so, I would say. I would also say it is their best effort since Who Are You -- it may ascend with more listens, but that is where it is now for me. I did not like Endless Wire. And Face Dances and It's Hard had a few great songs, but seemed to be largely incomplete albums. So, credit to the Who to make an album up there in the realm of Who Are You ... which for me is rarefied territory. Some notes: 1) The opening track "All This Music Must Fade" struck me like an obvious almost-sequel to "Music Must Change" off of Who are You. Anybody else have that impression? I don't mean that comment in a negative light. It is a good track. 2) The Simon Townshend-written track seems like a just throw-in only for his bro so he can make some royalty bucks. 3) The "I'll Be Back" track (along with the #2 item above) seem filler-ish, with the album offering a better cohesive listen without them. That is a compliment, though, as it is only two tracks. 4) There are four additional tracks on the expanded "deluxe" release version -- Of the four "This Gun Will Misfire" is the only keeper (seems very political, but I try to NOT to know what the meaning behind it is ... LOL). Hence, my iTunes version of the album only has this one track added in, with "I'll Be Back" and the S.Townshend tracks removed. The final overall product is a very good album. 5) The "Rocking In Rage" track would be very at home on Quadrophenia. That is a HUGE compliment coming from me. 6) Overall, I can't put this album in Who's Next or Quadrohenia territory, as that is -- for me -- like comparing something to Led Zeppelin IV. But it is "excellent". Nice job, Pete and Roger!
  5. I did not even know Fender made $2500 amps ... Stupid me ... Congrats on your purchase.
  6. So your son is getting TWO Les Pauls for Christmas?? Who is your son? Slash?
  7. NARRATOR: "And then there was Jimmy Two Times, who got that nickname because he said everything twice, like..." JIMMY TWO TIMES: "I'm gonna go get the papers, get the papers."
  8. You can generally tell the difference between slim or fat neck just by putting your hand around it pretty easily ... You can even do that with the guitar hanging there (you don't even need to pick it up and play it).
  9. That is mine too -- along with keeping the gits with fresh strings.
  10. Wow ... that is quite a statement. To me, the Who's last great album was "Who Are You?" A lot of people disagree with "Who Are You?" even being good, but not me -- I have always loved that album. However, I always thought their very best work was "Quadrophenia", followed by "Who's Next". The world could use a great another great album by the Who ... because it has certainly been a while. Looking forward to hearing it...
  11. HOOCHIE MAMA! And for the OP's question: generally, the 10% and 15% off coupons that are exclude Fender and Gibson stuff don't exclude them. Read the fine print.
  12. ... and find the distance to the stage too far ...
  13. I am not the hugest of Floyd fans. But "Dogs" is life changing ... that good.
  14. Like this? Very nice ... to say the least ...
  15. Okay, so a mistake. Did you inform Gibson of the mistake, and ask them to fix it?
  16. All of the mid-80s 335s that I played were really nice guitars ...
  17. Catch a concert at the Royal Albert Hall after visiting Abbey Road. That would be so cool. Because for me, now I know how many holes it takes to fill the Royal Albert Hall ...
  18. Yes, Nazi is short for "National Socialist German Worker's Party". But let's not confuse the Nazi brutal fascism with Bernie's "medicare for all"... whether we like the idea or not. That is all I am saying ...
  19. Uhhhh ... there is a reason why that is the case.
