  2. Taco Bell isn't Mexican food, that's why Taco Bell doesn't do well in Mexico. If it was say beef and coriander/cilantro, no salsa or tomato or lettuce or cheese, then I'd say it was Mexican food, but it's not, it's Taco Bell, let's call it Tex-Mex fast food. It's also a luxury maybe in the UK or in London at least to eat Taco Bell, but their menu is probably more economical than McDonald's? And also, this month, McDonald's are making a big thing about Big Mac with bacon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UW4tc59Icvw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzrBgSwSKV0 I could have eaten one of these, but I went to this Taco Bell I've found and had all that food and ice tea for £5.99 happy for the day.
  3. Chicken crunchwrap, beef taco, nachos, refried beans. From Taco Bell
  4. I'm liking what I've got, I've learned this song... -Where as before, if you probably saw a recording of me playing this song before, like these past couple of days, that was me either reading and reciting like Autocue and probably that video I posted that got like 50 views, where, that was an initial take, and, one of the first with the lyrics in front of me and probably the first time ever really thinking about the lyrics, so, it was a video of me not knowing the song, so my delivery was as good as my tempo, which, again, this was me recording an initial run through of this song, and liking what I got (this week) - so, this is what I'm finding myself playing tonight after practice thus far and having learned the lyrics, so, no Autocue (which is kinda how I like it). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41dDxRK81mo
  5. I haven't really learned this song, this is something I quickly sort of half learned and this is me more or less reciting it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdQIJhHA1w8
  6. I've been learning Nirvana as of late, and this is no exception. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkAhsILqMxI
  7. Found out my crazy South London town's got a Taco Bell now. Apparently it opened last December (I asked). This was my lunch.

  12. Happy Birthday Jimi Hendrix (Recorded Yesterday) I wish to record a Jimi Hendrix song later today though.
  13. Here in London, it's pretty drafty but my guitars are well maintained. I have them out in guitar wracks and stands. I tell a lie, I should, I have enough capacity to do that and that is essentially the plan, but my parlor guitar I had imported earlier this year lays about and gets a lot of play too. They all get played/maintained, just, some guitars get played more than others. I have no central heating and a hole in the roof with nobody to blame and or money to have it fixed or tools to fix it. It looks cool and is home, but, damn. Drafty and elements, my guitars are alright, it's dry in here, no mold, just cold. I do draft proof, 'tis November in England and all of that, not as cold or harsh as some places maybe, but, still cold.
  14. I pretty much nailed my dream guitar in terms of after market mods I wanted for my 2005 Gibson VOS R7 Les Paul It sounds amazing!
  15. https://www.instagram.com/p/BqcMzgMnkLD/ One year ago, today, I bought my Gibson 2005 VOS R7 gold top dark back (desired finish/desired guitar). And, when I bought it, I had a set of pickups I like put into it (I managed to find a set of Slash's Signature pickups which is basically the same pickup but tweeked to sound more like it did in 1987, and I found this pickup in the one finish I love and the one finish I never knew it came in until I found them and bought them for my R7 which, was close by where I bought being put in to its guitar case with its scratch plate that I probably would have took off anyway. I took it home, realised I wanted another bridge, went to sleep, woke up, and, tomorrow will be the anniversary of my TonesPros bridge in my guitar guy's luthier / guitar customisation business closer to home. My guitar was used and an owner before me gave it a relic job and, upgraded the capacitors I later found out. The actual knobs I have on it now are speed knobs, that was done this year, last summer or spring, and having the speed knobs finished my guitar... When I was buying it, there was 'the other' straplock system installed on this guitar, the place I bought installed the parts for free, and I sourced the parts from close by (Tin Pan Alley UK/Denmark Street, London). I have a 1996 Gibson Custom Shop Red Sparkle Top / Dark Back chambered body with a thinner neck profile and a transparent scratch plate and, Gibson put on that Schaller tunomatic bridge on, so it's stock for this guitar. A previous owner of this 1996 guitar I got in 2011, even had a set of the straplock system I do use; This guitar found me kind of deal/love at first play. The only thing I had done to this guitar was have a set of the pickups I like installed (Seymour Duncan APH-1 set).
  16. I wanted a Guild. Still do, tbh. But I like what I've got instead, even if it was ¼ of the price.
  17. I have a 1969 Stella (by Harmony) H913. I was playing it just the other night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9vGjjBnGyA I bought this last February since it was rare and I had ran out of Guild 12 String Acoustic money, but could afford this and thought that was really neat on the internet. I had this shipped to me from TN, USA.
  18. As long as you love your Gibson, that's all that matters. :) Welcome to Gibson ownership.
  19. Quite... That's why I shy away from signature models and aim to recreate from an artist's guitar if I ever want to play it for myself. Love my Gibson R7 even if why I love it is because of all the things I had done to it to get it to be like Slash's guitar that I wanted to copy; So without knowing the circuitry of Slash's new Gibson he seems to sporting, I'd say it's a darker Sun Burst and not a Tobacco Burst, and that Gibson or any big cooperate body will try to sell you anything it has the license to, but it's just what they've got to sell, which looks different to what Slash is using. I say get a darker Sun Burst, a nice one, and, then start replacing the pickup rings for black pickup rings and the knobs etc and get all the Slash pickups and matching bridge and everything etc, like, if you want 'it' you're going to have to study it and try and recreate it as best as you can, since Gibson aren't exactly selling it how it should be, but more, how they want it to be, which, for all we know, could be a bunch of B list stock they're trying to off load that sound the part, but are just a bunch of Tobacco Bursts with black plastic on.
  20. Wait a minute... I just realised we've both noticed a cool new look from Slash's guitars, but, we're both looking at different guitars? Why does the one I have pictured with Slash have more of an orange tuning peg than the Jimmy Kimmel show?
  21. Sun Burst with black knobs, pickup rings and orange tuning pegs and no lead/rhythm label & cream toggle switch head?..
  22. OMG, same... I picked up my acoustic and did a set. I sang into my microphone but didn't wake the neighbors with my P.A turned on, but I remember I really liked it and my set was; On my 1951 American parlor guitar (my Stella H929); In Eb/D#; Civil War (Guns N' Roses cover) Purple Haze (The Jimi Hendrix Experience cover) Help! (The Beatles cover) and, then I sort of faded out and went off, when I sort of forgot the lyrics to Sympathy For The Devil (Rolling Stones cover) I was tempting to go into a Michael Jackson song next (Earth Song) but... I ended it during Sympathy For The Devil this morning, but, no, yeah - that was fun. Didn't record it, but, I don't record everything I do.
