If I were to compare Apples to Apples I would use a D-18 to J-45 although Im a student of Gibson, Im here for the great players with Videos and to learn more about Gibson hollow bodies. They all have a role in the music of my life. Thanks O.P. You have two wonderful guitars, IMHO All guitars have there place and for me its just being able to get the right voice for the right song and to be able to get what you want out of any guitar. Again IMHO

FYP, Amen and I never really thought about the limited numbers that were made, could have made a huge difference, Ive heard some of those guitars of Toms before and from what I remember they are very strong players.

Thanks Tom PS, I still listen to that video of the war time 00-17 from time to time just to sort of find some musical balance. Those posted Gibsons are beautiful! I tend to agree with your opinion on bluegrass on this forum, There some really talented musicians on this forum, the music here is wonderful.

I know this is a Gibson site but I thought I would share this lifetime classic, Im not a brand loyalist more a tone addict. And all brands have THAT tone for me, I just have to find them. Im sure most people have seen this video but this one seem to stand the test of time along with the other posted videos, thanks Ive really enjoyed listen to original works by some of the fine players here, and its fun to see and hear some of the old classics, for me. I think our own music has been influenced by a lot of those great old songs, Again thanks for the music, now I need to return to my search for that special tune. Cheers and I hope you all stay safe and keep on picking , All of this is IMHO. -
Thanks! I really enjoyed your song!
