  1. Depending on the value of the guitar, it might be worth checking out Reverb.com They seem pretty reputable in my experience. Jacob

  3. If Gibson Support is anything like Fender, when you shoot them your serial number, they will return a wealth of technical info on your guitar. Jacob
  4. My Sheraton II Pro arrived. Absolutely delighted with this instrument. Elsewhere in this forum I published a homegrown setup guide which includes the Sheraton. Would be interested to know what settings you used. Jacob
  5. Over the years, I have done my own guitar setups. For string action and pickup settings, I found it much easier to use a digital micrometer depth gauge, by taking the measurement from the top of string (TOS) instead of the bottom of string (BOS) . To do this, I simply add the thickness of the string to the recommended BOS height given by manufacturers. I have a micrometer like this one, which also shows fractions of an inch: https://www.amazon.ca/Neiko-01407A-Electronic-Digital-Extra-Large/dp/B000GSLKIW/ref=asc_df_B000GSLKIW/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=292962791939&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12536325350565069859&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9001504&hvtargid=pla-434402902073&th=1 The following setup table provides settings for a variety of Fender and Gibson instruments (Squier and Epiphone also). It provides neck relief, string action and pickup settings, with inches and millimeters shown. The settings for the Epiphone were provided by Gibson USA. Use at your own risk. Here is one more guide I find useful: Jacob
  6. "Bob" at Gibson kindly sent me the following info: SHERATON II Pro and ES-335 Pro (in inches) Length: 43 & 3/16 Depth: approx 2 ½ at thickest point Depth at rim: 1 & 11/16 Upper Bout: 11 & 7/16 Lower Bout (or width): 16 & 3/8 Waist: 9 & 9/16
  7. Very Nice. I have an Ebony on order. Can you supply an accurate measurement of the length of the body (I am search for hardshell cases). Thanks for your help. Jacob
  8. Which model# Grover tuners did you select?

  9. All previous gear is Fender or Squier. Have an Epi Sheraton II Pro on order. Seems like a fabulous value.
