We are born and for a while we poop in diapers, then we get old and go out the same way.

David Letterman became a father when he was 56 years old.  During his monologue the night after his son was born, he said something to the effect that, with any luck, he and his son "will both have teeth at the same time."

You know you're getting old when the only time you want to see a woman on her hands and knees is when she's looking for your hearing aid.

"... see a woman on her hands and knees...."?  THOSE were the days!

I'm not on Facebook.  People tell me I need to get on Facebook because it's a great way to keep up with old friends.  I tell them, at MY age, if I want to keep up with old friends, I don't need Facebook -- I need a Ouija board.

Not you or any other "non-staffed" members. Sorry to be cut-n-dry about it all.

The mods SHOULD "be cut-nm-dry about it all."

I say, keep on keepin' on.

...and Talking Heads did a killer version of Take Me To The River....

It IS killer.  But I have to listen to Al Green's, too.  I love them both.

When I was in college, Al Green on late-night AOR was prime make-out music.

  5. Early breakfast and flirting with the girls at Starbuck's.  Then, on TV, Formula 1 free practice 3 and then qualifying for the race tomorrow at Monaco.  Next, Saturday FaceTime with my kids and grandkids.  A cigar in the back yard (OK, TWO cigars).  Followed by lunch and flirting with the bartender at my favorite watering hole.  Now, laundry.  And then, next, I'm going to test drive my new pedal; a Mythos Pedals Mjolnir OD.

Same here; I wanted to be the next Mickey Mantle too.  Hell, I wasn't even the next Wayne Terwilliger.

    I liked Elvis, too.

My ex-wife used to work with a woman who was a HUGE Elvis fan.  Back in the day when one would shop for books in an actual bookstore, I was in B. Dalton books once and found the perfect book for this woman.  I bought it, and my then-wife gave it to her for Christmas.  It was a book of Elvis's favorite recipes.  The title?

But do have "Don't Look Back"('67)

I saw that in the theater when I was in high school.  I loved the movie, but my date never went out with me again.

What part of it is dangerous???  I actually went to the web site to look and it just gives you a list of dangerous chemicals..  I am assuming the coating?

Maybe it's just the plastic bag that causes "cancer and reproductive harm", and the whammy bar itself is perfectly safe.

Speaking of "Head", how about "Eraserhead"?  Talk about a weird movie....!

And going back to the '30s, how about "Island of Lost Souls"?

    "Are we not men?"
