  1. Why Gibson L-00 standard is more expensive than the original one ? Original $2,699 Standard $3,099 They have almost identical spec in terms of wood, and you will even get better material for nut and saddle with the original version which is cheaper.
  2. Hi there, I'd like to find out the date of manufacture for my vintage L-00. I suspect its between 1936-1938, but was hoping someone might have access to the original sales ledger. 🙂 There is a four digit code on the headstock : 1349 in addition to a Made in the USA engraving A sticker shows it's "made in the USA by Gibson, Inc" Kalamazoo, Mich.
