  1. Hi there! I am trying to date this guitar that belonged to my great great uncle, Snoozer Quinn. I think L0 or L00 Attached is a photo I took inside the sound hole. It either says 724 or 1724... can't be certain with the block printing technique. Any ideas?
  2. Hi I'm considering to buy this acoustic guitar. The owner says this l-00 was made 15 years ago. But could this actually be the Gibson Blues King instead? I currently have only these pictures to show from the owner. Also, I'm still trying to understand what is the difference between l-00 and Blues King. Very nice guitar, with that very distinctive sound of these old small-body Gibson. Please find attached some pictures of it. There's some things I have in mind about this guitar, especially regarding its crafting’s year. I'm not an expert, far from this, but I’ve read a lot about the o
  4. Hi there, I'd like to find out the date of manufacture for my vintage L-00. I suspect its between 1936-1938, but was hoping someone might have access to the original sales ledger. 🙂 There is a four digit code on the headstock : 1349 in addition to a Made in the USA engraving A sticker shows it's "made in the USA by Gibson, Inc" Kalamazoo, Mich. Many thanks for your help. Sanj
