Hey!
I just got a Fender Telecaster Thinline with humbuckers. I bought it at a local pawn shop and didn't get the chance to open it until I had paid for it. They were clearly not the original PU's (they are marken with an F and are largely larger than regular humbuckers).
When I got home and opened it, I saw they are quite similar to Gibsons. Metal braided wire, and a "Wound by PS" sticker on each, but no PAF stickers. Screw sleeves seem to have been modified, maybe straightened to fit the Tele?
Neck: 7.63 Ohms, sticker: #2 AL 5, Wound by PS (Alnico 5?)
Bridge: 8.29 Ohms, sticker: #1 AL 5, Wound by PS
Any help would be appreciated.
