LPguitarman
No. Alex Lifeson is not on the list. Underrated again. :(
quapman
Well,, #1 is definitely in my favorites bucket. But more as a composer than a guitarist. Love his playing but it's more of a bonus than a feature.
Kennis
Pretty much, the only ones I can think of that I really miss are Gary Moore, and Dave Murray of Iron Maiden. But there are several on this list I would kick out. Some of them are definitely noteworthy musicians, but not guitarists, others, not even that. retrosurfer1959
Nope no Warren Haynes that I see - and he would probably stand out a bit with all these skinny little guys

btoth76
No Randy Rhoads, Steve Clark, Gary Moore, Frank Marino. I guess most of the answers in this thread were very predictable: "No ....". That's what always happens when someone post things like "Top X guitarists" and such. Nevermind. At least Mr. Gilmour and Mr. Bloomfield is there - these two greats seem to be always forgotten. Cheers... Bence
lazarusvt84
No. Alex Lifeson is not on the list. Underrated again. :( Ditto... I also came to love Gary Moore because of this website....

bonzoboy
George Harrison and Jimi Hendrix are there but two more guitar heroes aren't there either,John Lennon and Les Paul didn't make the list.Plus there were quite a few others who could have easily bumped several guitar players that were there. Izzy
I like the little drawins, they're so cute. If someone made a list of the ommited ones maybe a talented artist among us could make a new poster. AXE and Searcy are not on there...and so the list starts.
pippy
Beavis and Butthead (in several incarnations) are there but no B.B. King? No John Lee Hooker? No Django Reinhardt? Chet Atkins? Andres Segovia? Wes Montgomery? Charlie Christian? Perhaps BBK (and miscellaneous others) are crap. Alternatively those who compiled the list.... P.

AlanH
I don't have one overall favourite but I'd like to see Dave Mustaine and Alex Skolnick on there. Not sure how Kirk Hammett gets on but either of those would be a much better replacement to represent the thrash genre.
jaxson50
A few of them are on the list. There are no Jazz players,
