That was excellent!! I haven't heard your other tunes Izzy but that is a great tune you got there.... Very catchy and danceable, hit material. If it was me though I would end it on the up beat part with a big bang instead of fizzling out... JMHO of course.... Good job, well done... [thumbup] [thumbup] [thumbup]

You need a band!! You need a band immediately!

Given that I can't write songs or lyrics at all and my 'singing' sounds like a cow in labour....so you're a lot better than me and I wouldn't have the courage to put up one of my songs and ask for crits either....the only thing I thought was that there are a lot of lyrics and it sounds in 1 or 2 places like you're rushing to get it all in. I say leave out your age too. But the delivery's great, very personal and intense and you've got something to say and want people to hear it. That's what it's all about!

Izzy, indeed, all OK, your fine individual style, as before, and this is the main thing. And some fluctuations as regards worse-better are always possible, if it will be necessary to make a guitar track maybe I can try too. I will not say anything about a band, it is almost always necessary, of course, but here may be some nuances.

Yup.. getting better each time I hear you.. [thumbup]

Nice little tune there and no real comments but positive.. Great lyrics good melody... And you have a great voice.. Any refinement now will just come with more experience and learning different playing, recording and editing techniques (and theres no shortcut to that, just time and patience :)).

Thank you all for your compliments and encouragement and especially for improvement advice.

I would love a band, a little one. No one wants to play with me, though. If I search for a band on CL they all want girls in their early 20s or its an established giging band that does country (which I'd be cool with but I'd never play my own stuff).

@Searcy

Feel free to come up with a bass line if you like. Its all for fun here [thumbup]

Again, thank ya'll. [wub]

Also too add..

I think you could do some really nice backing vocals to this tune.. Plus try doubling up the main vocal by either dupicating the track and moving it a few frames foward or by adding some reverb or a chorus to the vocal track..

This gives you a much thicker sound and helps to fill some space.. Its a classic studio tecnique to use.

I like your voice too Izzy. I also like the originality of your song from the standpoint that it isn't just another bang-your-way-through song. It has great dynamics with your hard beat and the transitions into the soft parts. That shows a sophisticated imagination that I consider the mark of a more mature song writer and you seem to be way ahead of your years in that matter. I've worked with girls and more mature ladies in some of the bands I've played in over the years. From the opinions I've formed over the years in working with them, I think if you keep your good attitude and approach you will be quite successful working with others in the music business. Your voice is clear and strong and you have good control of it. That makes for a good fit in either a lead or backup harmony position on a wide variety of styles. Keep at it, hard work never hurts and there's a lot of learning that just happens naturally from a lot of practice.

Nice stuff Izz.

We have a female singer that is in her 30's that just fell into our laps, so I belive you can find a project as well. My advice is find a guitar player that you can connect with and trust. Once that is accomplished the rest will snow ball.

Last month I was playing bass in a Beatles tribute band.... Today I have a complete band where I play guitar that writes and has its own 24 hour lock-out studio.... And this was something that just came out of nowhere [thumbup]

There is some serious talent in our room
