Guest Farnsbarns
Myself and Flight959 went to see Joe Bonamassa last night at the RAH. It was a VERY good show. The Green/Moore burst was as revered by the audience as Joe himself. He talked a tiny bit about it. I had remembered that another member, GaryMooreTribute, was going, we managed to make contact and waved across the auditorium and then managed to meet on the train back for a chat. It was a good night! Cheers for the beers Flight! I passed your thanks on to T. The set was in two halves. An acoustic set first for the new album and then some electric blues/rock after the intermission. Thanks JB! A damned fine show!
bigtim
I bet it was good!!! He has played there before. On the PBS station here in the US they will show a live concert from about 2 years or so ago. Funny how he seems to be playing over there in Britian more than here in the states. He is a pretty good player!! Tim

daveinspain
Anyone got a link to the PBS acoustic show? I saw him here in Valencia a few years ago when The Ballod of John Henry first came out... He was selling the CDs in the lobby of the 2 or 300 hundred capacity dance club that sometime has a concert... I took this video at the end of the show....... I also got tons of great photos... :-)
krock
I remember you mentioning it a while back that you were going and being slightly envious. I can imagine a JB gig would be unbelievably loud because one of the tricks he uses to get his tone. I like watching his RAH vid on youtube. His bass player is pretty awesome although I must admit I dont know much about his band. Having 2 drummers is a cool idea though, adds to the atmosphere I imagine. jaxson50
http://m.video.pbs.o...deo/2201651878/I think they are not releasing the live video until they sell enough copies, the show was recorded at the Vienna Opera House http://jbonamassa.com/vienna/
fingers galore
I was fortunate enough to see Joe on his acoustic tour. It was fantastic! His band was stellar as well. I hung out after the show and got to meet him and his band while they signed autographs. Talked briefly to him about guitars and string gauge etc. Here a few pictures I snapped. I can`t wait to see him again, this time electric.
Californiaman
He's as real as they come. I've had the pleasure of seeing JB twice now. I'd see him again in a heartbeat. Great performer. I'm huge JB fan. Glad you got to see him.
btoth76
Hello! Well...I see how many of You are impressed by Him. What I have heard from Him yet, did not have that effect on me. That many fans of blues guitar playing can't be wrong. It must be that I have chosen the wrong tracks to start with. If You wanted to show someone how great He is, what would You recommend listening too? I have to make a second attempt. Thank You in advance! Cheers...
