Rabs
The song is called Rock Me baby... Hendrix rocks way more... so he wins :)
Californiaman
This song has been done by so many artists. I do believe Hendrix certainly throws down some killer riffiage. His version is hard, fast, driving and in your face.
L5Larry
Certainly famous Rock & Roll versions. I prefer the song a little more BLUESY:

Californiaman
Certainly famous Rock & Roll versions. I prefer the song a little more BLUESY: Yeah, that was nice too. Etta voice sounded so good there. And that harmonica player, good stuff.
Californiaman
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0agVtbLcq-I Beck's tone at 1:28 is so nice. I love it. Marshall and a Strat? What ever it was, I thought it superb.

Riffster
One of my favorite versions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRbtVpMn43I and also the Rollings Stones/AC/DC live version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zg1VjxuJiio
charlie brown
It's a classic standard, and has been done equally well, by a LOT of artists, in their own styles. I've always loved the "Rock My Plimsoul" version that The Jeff Beck Group, did, and the slower blues type treatment, that other's have done. But, it's all good! I think he was still a LP man then, but I'm not sure. Truth is a must-have album
