AndyK Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I've got someone in Scotland who wants to buy my SG, but after speaking to Parcelforce, they confirmed they do NOT insure guitar packages. Can anyone recommend me a good courier who will, please?
Pin Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I wouldn't touch ParcelFarce with a bargepole for anything. Most couriers will offer fully insured options.
Twang Gang Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I know these are US companies, but thought they were pretty worldwide now how about United Parcel Service, or Federal Express and you must have DHL over there. Maybe not If no one wants to insure it to full value - England and Scotland aren't that big geographically. Why not take a Saturday or Sunday and meet the buyer half way up. You get the cash in hand same day and don't need to pack it and ship it worrying if it will get there?
krock Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 would royal mail not insure it? my bass guitar was delivered by them
AndyK Posted April 10, 2013 Author Posted April 10, 2013 Royal Mail / Parcelforce are happy to ship guitars - they're just not insured! So if it gets broken... tough. Thanks for the replies, everyone. I've picked a courier - Interparcel.
