Epiphone Lucille: treble bleed problems !

Hello guys .

First excuse me for my English I have a problem with treble bleed mod in my Epiphone Lucille and I'm try to explain my problem more clearly as pos posiible.

I have just tried to insert treble bleed on my Epiphone Lucille to solve problem of loosing high freq when volume pot decrease and soound became very dark.

I have put a 1000pF ceramic cap in each vol pot and when decrease vol the sound has no loss of high frq, but there is a little increase of high frq when vol pot is at max.

TNot all it's ok, infact the decrease of volume is progressive , but slowly from max 10 to about 2,5-3 ( a little amount of volume ).

From 2,5-3 suddenly the volume decease quickly and the sound became very dark.

What's the reason of this ? Caps or its value ? The presence of varitone doesn't allow insert of treble bleed ? Both of two causes ?

Any suggests is well-accepted.
