As for the screw it is very slightly raised from the pick guard. Dave

Bender 4 Life Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 I just had to come look at that beauty again !! my old LP has the "bare spots" on the neck & body bottom from using a rubber covered stand decades ago.....no peeling around the bare spots YET, but I was CRUSHED when I saw what i'd done.

As for the screw it is very slightly raised from the pick guard. Dave Mine was a scratch and dent one, big discount but some problems with how the pickguard was mounted. The guard looks warped at certain angles but should be an easy fix. The protruding screw was part of the problem.
