Mmm... that new fretboard smell! First tune played on her by me (in the shop).... I Ain't the One. (Badly, obviously. Does anyone else's hands turn into donkey hooves upon entering a music shop?!)

James Honeyman-Scott used to sleep with his new guitars. Not sure if Mrs K would really allow that, though...

Most of my playing thus far has been unplugged (seeing to my daughter), but it feels a very vibrant and ringy guitar. The neck is slightly thicker than my LP Classic slim taper, but feels good, and I'm going to try and persist with these 010s! (I'm normally a 009 man.)

Gimme Three Steps

Really. Because of this thread, I got on the treadmill after work and ran through One More For From The Road. MAN that was such a great record then and still sounds just as great. I really need to get a Firebird.

It was/is a great recording. Of course Rossington and Collins are great, but you can also hear new recruit Steve Gaines easing into place before they would turn him loose on Street Survivors. This was my first and perhaps favorite Skynyrd album.

Agreed guys - in my top 10 best ever album list. If you don't have it, get the new expanded version - superbly remastered with extra tracks.

I've got 10 free minutes before I leave for work - guess what I'm going to do? :)
