daveinspain Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 This is a great way to spend an hour and a half... Whether you like them or not... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1yxNjU7u_8
L5Larry Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 I saw that movie (first run) at a "Midnight Flick". This movie came out BEFORE "Dark Side" was released. Even at the time I found the studio footage fascinating, without any idea of the future historical significance of actual film documentation of the recording sessions that would become "Dark Side". It wasn't until years later, after watching the movie again, that I recognized the songs they were working on in the studio (and recognized Abbey Road Studio).
geeterpicker Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I remember seeing that movie back in the mid 70s at the old RKO Albee in downtown Cincy on a hot summer night. Things were a bit rubbery and cartoonish for some reason that night. But I always loved the sound of Gilmour's guitar.
