I have a 2012 L00TV in mint condition with a K & K pickup and appropriate bone bridge pins added. I'm looking to sell it to fund a SJTV, J45TV or J-35 depending on price.

What's the going price for one of these? I can't find any information about what to ask. (I know someone will offer $50)

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

A guideline that Ive seen used by retail sellers breaks it down like this: 52% of the mspr (mnf sugstd retail price); 70% m.a.p. (min. advts'd price) or 79% of what you actually paid. Expect less for a private sale (no overhead). To take a random example, Elderly had a usd D28 for 1674. The msrp was 3149, map 2399. And MFG had one for 2040, actual, so it checks out. Rambler

The list on my L-00TV Custom (more vintagy features than the regular production L-00TV) was just north of $4000. I bought it used (first buyer returned it three days later) for $2550, including shipping. Tried for a while to sell it with the price eventually dropping to $2250. Had some tire kickers, but no sale.

This guitar has an adi top which was very tight when I first got it. I didn't care for that tone but the longer I had it (and played it) the more it began to open up. I subsequently decided to take it off the market because the guitar's tone

has developed significantly. I mean, it's like another guitar. Never had a guitar that changed so radically over a relatively short period of time.

That's great cameleye! It's really not a good time to be selling guitars. The only ones that seem to be moving are under 2000 from what I've seen. Unless you have something really special! Best of luck to you Joe.

But unless you can trade somebody you may have to take a big hit. There maybe someone trying to get into an 00 that would trade there slope dread who knows.

I know, Mine opens up more and more. I can play it for an hour and tell the difference. A couple of major players told me that characteristic of red spruce tops. It's a love/hat relationship for fingerpickers with new guitars with those tops. Given my choices I tend to lean toward Engleman myself.

The original owner added a K & K mini pickup. I wouldn't have done that, but at least its probaly the least obstrusive pickup available. He also added bone pins. The guitar is mint and I'm asking $2,300 including ground shipping to the lower 48 states.

Thank you very much for sharing your info. These gutars are hard to get info on - Not like Martins.
