zigzag
I always thought that Concrete Blonde was an under-appreciated band and Johnette Napolitano was an underrated singer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUYgAw8abro

Izzy
I really like those deeper voices in women. Never heard of this band before. Thanks for the intro
Searcy
This was their one big hit from their album "Bloodletting". I loved that one but I didn't go totally nuts for them till I picked up a copy of "Mexican Moon" at the Salvation Army for $.99 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEv1Ymcb6H0 Now I'm slightly stalker obsessed.

bonzoboy
Johnette Napolitano and Concrete Blonde are another rock band that never got the recognition that they deserved.Johnette's voice is one of the most unique and expressive voices to be recorded. She put soul and angst into everything that she sang."Bloodletting" would have to be a desert island album for me,mainly because of "Joey" and Andy Prieboy's "Tomorrow Wendy" which is another song that I can put on repeat and listen to repeatedly for over an hour. With regard to "Tomorrow Wendy",Andy Prieboy was so blown away by Johnette's cover of the song that he insisted that she sing on his recording of it on his "Upon My Wicked Son" album.
