LarryUK Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLfSdfJ9TqY I'm not a sport fan. But this happened here in the UK yesterday at a football(soccer) match. Do you get things like this in your countries? I think he should be banned from playing here. With them being paid so much and being treated like gods, I think he should have a £1m fine and expelled from football. But as he's one of the world's top players he'll get off with a ban for a few games (he'll probably fly off to his summer home and laugh it off). I hate dirty play. ps, it's not the first time he's bitten a player either.
IanHenry Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Just what was that all about? The guy's got something wrong with his head. Ian.
btoth76 Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 This was the last game I've ever attended: 1994 Cup finals. Kispest-Honvéd - Ferencváros. It was when I've learned policemen are for causing fear in citizens, and not for serving and protecting them... Cheers... Bence

btoth76 Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Hello D28boy! My team Kispest, lost the finals against the team Ferencváros. The fans ran into the field after the match to celebrate their players. Then suddenly the storm-troopers flooded the field, and soon their colleagues on horses appeared and started beating everyone (including players and trainers as well). Noone knows what triggered their action, but - obviously - they enjoyed their job very much. I have the feeling, that it meant to demonstrate to the citizens who's in charge - since it was broadcasted on TV and was watched by the whole country. Not surprisingly, the same kind of police aggression was experienced during the 2006 demonstrations, when we had the same government. Cheers... Bence

Pin Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Just what was that all about? The guy's got something wrong with his head. Ian. Which is about the size of it. You see aggressive biting sometimes in toddlers (many of them - not all - have disturbed backgrounds) but to see a grown man doing it is indicative of someone who needs a psychoanalyst's couch. I'd like to see him railroaded out of football but it won't happen.
IanHenry Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 It looks to me like a clear case of common assault, the police should be looking at this, there is plenty of evidence! Why was the bloke not sent off? He went on to score a goal! Ian.
LT ED Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Maybe he just missed out on his half time orange and needed some vitamin c.
Californiaman Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Boxer Mike Tyson bit off part of Evander Holyfield's ear in a heavy weight bout back in 1997. You can watch it on Youtube.

badbluesplayer Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Biting is actually the most infantile reflex that humans have and it's the first reflex that humans learn to control. People who bite usually have deep and fundamental control problems. The guy's a really great player, right? Not just an average guy? Sorry I'm not up too much on Premier League.
