My link (I realise the facebook group is a closed group, join to see pics) Comment on the 50's wiring harness: The CTS pots are quicker, or looser than the Gibson. I think the Gibson pots were a smoother taper. With the CTS pots there is definitely a noticeable on at 10 and off at 1. I am liking the bees and the fifties wiring. I was having a buzz problem when the vol./tone were on full and the amp turned up which was not resolved with rewiring. Blame the equipment. I think with a cheap dynamics compressor the signal is boosted quite a bit further than just plugging in the amp and the buzz is louder this way. The guitar is properly grounded and rewired and is quiet as it should be when operating at medium levels. I think with the amp pumping flat out the noise issue is prevalent. Answer is more powerful amp head where I can get a louder level at lower settings. The equipment is Ibanez TSA 15 head, which is touch sensitive as is the guitar (LP Studio). Pedals are Behringer and there's not an issue with the cheap persay, the buzz is prevalent whether the effects are plugged in or not, but more so when the dynamics compressor is on, it's a boost too.
