Lefty Guy
I went to see this last night with high expectations as I loved the film - I was not disappointed! Its a fabulous show with an amazingly talented cast who all play acoustic instruments on stage. It recently opened in london after winning many awards in New York, yet was not full, although I'm sure word of mouth will ensure audience numbers pick up soon. We gave them 3 standing ovations. For those of you who missed the film (it was a low budget Irish "arty" film released about 5 years ago) it is a lovely story with beautiful music & I'd highly recommended both the film & the musical. http://www.oncemusical.co.uk/
blindboygrunt
i agree lefty , his stuff with 'the frames' is also worth a listen ... if youre a fan of glen's music i recently got an album by 'ciaran lavery' called 'not early dark' . you should give it a listen on itunes or youtube ... very similar and very excellent .
