ParlourMan
....'cept the little things on the bridge , don't like those much yep, agreed, never noticed them at first. They're not acceptable... plain bridge, that colour, I'd buy it.....
zombywoof
Nope, not to my liking. Maybe I am just Old School, but I still think there is nothing finer in this universe than a dark edged, pear shaped Gibson tobacco brown burst. I also guess when it comes down to it I just like Plain Jane guitars free of all the doodads.
Lefty Guy
...& the pick guard is even in the right place!

j45nick
With the bound board and the fancy detailing, it looks more SJ-ish than J-45. Not that I mind a nice SJ......
zombywoof
Kinda kills the "workhorse" image don't it.
vacamartin
Friggin' gorgeous!
duluthdan
Diamond fingerboard dots, herringbone top binding, inlaid rosette, classy color, I would not say no.
j45nick
Kinda kills the "workhorse" image don't it. Depends on the line of work your horse happens to be in... Clothes horse, horse of a different color, etc. (watch out: here comes wily!)
bobouz
I do not care for the traditional sunburst that goes to black. Honey, tea, cherry, etc, and I'll be much more interested. So this is nice, but maybe make it even a little lighter in color.

davenumber2
I like the burst color but I could do without the trimmings/bling.
Bigg T
I like the burst. Love the purfling. The workhorse obviously holds a special place in Americana as it should. A little variety is a good thing. One of the reasons I like Gibson is their historical willingness to produce the unusual...
CAMELEYE
I'm OK with the burst. Goes well with the dark stained hog B&S. Not a fan of pearl soundhole purfling nor the bridge inlays. Now if the soundhole was bordered with the same herringbone that adorns the top edge, that might do it for me.

ajsc
Friggin' gorgeous! Is about right! Too intimidating for me. When you open the case for your friends to see, you damn well better play something impressive. Also that 1st scratch could put me in a state of depression that I might never be able to recover from. It is absolutely gorgeous but not for me.

All of the points are unfortunately absolutely true with the added comments "who in the f@ck does he think he is with this shiny guitar with all that fanciness! Lol! "I hate guitars with all that bling"! Ok thanks for your opinion that I don't recall asking for! All valid points but if it feel right do it! Haters gonna hate!
