dc3c46
Well now! Isn't that something. I just gave my 6120 a good workout with a good dose of overdrive (OKKO Diablo)and some delay and reverb. Heavely tone! Now checking out the forum and I see this! Great! Love the White Falcon!

charlie brown
I Do! And, my old '66 Country Gent (Binding rot , and all)! Somehow, a Gretch and a Vox, is much like a Gibson and a Marshall! "Heavenly!!!" CB
Pin
Gretsch is one make of guitar that just doesn't move me at all. I don't know why but none of the models has ever appealed to me one iota. It isn't so much the way they play (they play fine - I have tried) but there is something about them (or not about them) that just turns me off. charlie brown
I've had a Gretsch with me, in some form or another, since I was 16 (1966)! (There's a Vox Super Beatle (barely visible), in the background.) Loved that combination, at that time. (Still do, for that matter.) CB
T Bone
Mmmm, purrrrdy stuff there! And you've got both types of pickups covered too (not to mention some fantastic colors)! Sweet guitars, thanks for posting them!

brc
I bought a new Gretsch Country Gentleman in 1963. Had it for about 3 weeks, and returned for a Gibson ES 355 which I still have. Nothing wrong with the Gretsch, but for some reason it just did not suit me. I have been looking for a nice Country Gentleman for a long time now, and would love to find a nice original early to late 60s model.I have played many Country Gentlemans, and just love that sound. I compare the Gretsch to a nice Guild.

charlie brown
Those are both of my favorite Gretsch models in my respective favorite colors for them. You're killing me! Thanks, Dub....the Country Gent, is in the shop, getting new binding. But, that's all that's being done to it! Want to keep it as "original" as I can. However, the binding rot, is severe, and I just can't live with that, especially on a Vintage guitar that is, by all other standards, in Great (very clean) condition! Really looking forward, to getting it back, when it's completed! CB
