nrose619
I found this old gibson acoustic guitar in my nana's house, she said she played it when she was a kid (possibly 1950's). Anyone know what model this guitar is? thanks.
JuanCarlosVejar
looks like a 1950's LG guitar . they came in LG 1 LG 2 & LG 3 configurations someone else can tell you which one of the three it is because I am not an expert on the LG style guitars . zombywoof
Center seam strip and burst = LG-2. Hard ot see but it looks like a block letter logo and 19 frets so I would think 1948 to 1955.

jedzep
You lucked out...especially if it is in playing shape. $2500-$3000 in good condition these days. Not to mention the great punchy tone.
nrose619
Thanks for the replies! I recently got it restrung and fixed up a bit. I believe it's the 3/4 size model dating back to the early 50's but there is no FON or serial number printed on the guitar. I checked inside the sound hole and around the inside of the guitar and didn't find any sort of number. It plays really nice though, love the unique sound compared to my old acoustic.
