cyril64
Hi, I'd like to buy a Gibson Les Paul Custom Natural Maple because it's a custom and because it looks great! http://www.thomann.de/gb/gibson_les_paul_custom_natural_maple.htm I couldn't find any reviews online. Has anyone tried it? Any feedback? Thanks Cyril
Jock68
Looks good, only time I had a maple board was on a Strat. I had customized the strat to have Lil59 and dual rail humbuckers, lovely feel to the neck and the sound was good. Never been brave enough to buy a Custom with a Maple board. If you do buy it, and then decide it is not for, you then it may not be as easy to sell as a Standard Custom. Cheers
btoth76
Hello Cyril! That's a very nice Custom! Reminds me of the '75-'76 identical guitars. I'd look for such instead, because of it's vintage character. (And they are lot cheaper too). Cheers... Bence

CR9
Over the past 10 years I have owned 4 ov the late 70's Customs with a maple board and love them (1977-1979). I have played a couple of these new ones and really loved them....just no money to buy one. You might check with the guys at Guitarsale as they had a bunch of them and could tell you more about them.
