badbluesplayer
I bought a G20 amp the other day. It was on consignment at my local mom & pop. Reverb wasn't working. SN 11113. I have no idea when it was made. Took it home and the reverb didn't work. Plugged in the footswitch and the reverb started working. I put in a new long reverb tank, bagged the tank and adjusted it up and now it's as good as.... Well, it's as good as it's going to get.

bluesguitar65
nice score....did you save the orgianal reverb just in case you decide to sell it? Some prospective buyers are collectors that like things as orginal/stock as possible.
pippy
That looks like it will be a great little amp! Looking forward to the soundclips when you have time. P.

Searcy
Neat score. I'm betting is an early 70's.

badbluesplayer
Neat score. I'm betting is an early 70's. I'm thinking early seventies too. The reverb was really weak and the amp has this adjustment wheel that you open up as much as possible without it feeding back or ringing. It really helped a lot to wrap the tank up. It's still weak, but o.k. Amp sounds pretty good! Speaker seem like it's good. It has that "poly dome" sound, kind of. I really don't know what it's worth. Probably anywhere from $200 to $400. I can't really find any equivalent sales.

Although it's installed diagonally in the amp and tanks are rated for either horizontal or vertical. One of the screws holding the tank wasn't stock.
