Sasha
Hi there. I was hoping to find out a little information on a Ukulele my father asked me to sell for him. From what I've gathered, it is most likely a 1920's Gibson style 1 ukulele. I was hoping there might be a few experts here who could confirm this and also possible get a roundabout value for it. If not, does anyone possible know where I would be able to find this information (catalogs, magazines etc.), aside from getting it appraised? Anyway, the files were too large to attach for some reason so here is a few pictures: http://imgur.com/qR1aXd2,DKRdqbg,PttlqtJ,qFJL7B4,wNgOu7x,svefStA,9f8flwR,HLjRuVx#2 Thanks for any help! j45nick
You might try posting this in the Gibson acoustic section. There are a fair number of uke players there.
TM
You are correct, a late 20s Uke I. Appears to be in decent condition. Any case? Value $450-500. Some of these sell some of them just sit. Check ebay for Gibson Uke sales. Terry
