You say this is the last for a while? I hope everything is ok. This is very good work and I would like to hear more so come back soon.

Very nice- smooth!Easier to learn off Stefan than upside down Elizabeth.

Very nice JD - that is a cool sounding J-100.

Very nice! Great playing. I'm only listening on iPad speakers, but that J-100 sounds really nice!

Thank you all so much guys! You guys are so encouraging.

So yes I am taking a bit of break. Everything is fine. I just feel like I need a little rest from recording so I can come back feeling fresh. Plus I'm going to Fur Peace Ranch this week so I won't have the chance to record.

Thanks again guys!

Inspiring pickin' there Doug ! [thumbup]

This kind of country blues pickin' is exactly what im getting into right now. Listening to your skills is pretty inspiring and great motivation to keep on getting better.

That J-100 really sounds a lot like my J-150, but yours is mahogany, or is it maple ?

Sounds very good either way.

cheers,

EA

Thank you so much EA! I can't say I ever inspired anybody before, except for inspiring people to leave the room when I'm playing! I recommend picking up Stefan Grossman's Country Blues Guitar 3 DVD set. That's where I learned Shake Sugaree from. Stefan's amazing.

My J-100Xtra is figured bubinga, though I have tried some in maple that I really enjoyed but I just wasn't in the position to buy at that time.

Thanks again! Your kind remarks mean a lot to me.
