Lespaulist 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 Has anyone heard about the 339 or Gary Clark jr. Casino releases?
Dennis G 319 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 really interesting read....thanks! +1. Enjoyed that. I've gotta say, I've got 5 Epi's (Elitist Casino, Qingdao Dot, Wildkat, and cheapo DR212 12 string and a bbbbbbb....bbbbbb...banjo!) There, I said the B word LOL. The Casino is probably my go to guitar 90% of the time, with the 'Kat close behind. I also have a Gibby LP, Gretsch, Carvin, etc. and I think for the $ you spend, Epi is giving you a very, very quality product. Bang for the buck is certainly there IMHO. And that Gary Clark Jr. BluBurst Casino is just killer!
EpiEric 6 Report post Posted June 14, 2013 Summer NAMM is less than a month away. That would be a logical place to announce the new models.

tonematter 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2014 Whatever it is I bet you £1000 theres not a lefty model coming. Actually the Lefty Casino and the 339-sized 'Casino Coupe' are featured in this NAMM 2014 video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEOjuuEh63I
Victek 0 Report post Posted February 3, 2014 Actually the Lefty Casino and the 339-sized 'Casino Coupe' are featured in this NAMM 2014 video! The Casino Coupe is starting to appear online in the US. See here: http://www.lamusic.ca/Epiphone-2014-Casino-Coupe-Vintage-Sunburst-ETCCVS-p/etccvsnh.htm Assuming the MSRP is correct I think their "discounted" price is quite high. We'll see how Guitar Center and the other big retailers price it.

I can't wait to test drive this Coupe. I sent an email to Epiphone yesterday asking when we could expect to see them in stores in the States and I'll let you know what they say. bytor1958 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2014 I love the idea, but I'd certainly want to hear how it sounds in comparison to a casino. I really really really want a blue burst Gary Clark Jr casino if they make some though, so it may not matter what else they put out. :) I would like a Blak and Blu Casino too. They are cool looking. tonematter 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2014 Looking at these closer, I wonder if the trapeze tailpiece and the headstock are scale-down at all to match the scaled-down body. I've always wanted a totally hollow Wildkat and a smaller-bodied Casino, so this Coupe looks completely promising.
