This could be the future of recording music...

Looks like it's going for around 16k, which is lower than I thought. I think it'll definitely turn some heads. Working on a 46 inch screen vs. a computer is revolutionary. It'll certainly change recording, but good old guitar amps with analog mics aren't going anywhere.

Very cool...

BUT my only issue is tactile feeling... Ive worked on mixing desks before and ive used the automated ones (that are amazing)...

Like with phone and tablet screens I miss pressing an actual button and getting the feeling from that. Using virtual faders just wont feel right... Im sure youd get used to it in time.. But theres nothing like real buttons and faders under your fingers.

Still. VERY VERY cool though theres no denying it works in todays digital world. Would have to go down as the most expensive Smart Phone dock ever :)

It got my attention because it seems very user flriendly and aposite to the needs of someone working on mixes BUT...the industry changes quickly and how soon will this technological advancement become obsolete?

It took guts to make that, though. I'm not sure how much money and effort was put in, but it seems like a well-thought-out bit of technology.

The old mixing monitors however seem WAY sturdier and to me...if I'm gonna shell out over 10K...I want it to tolerate my behavior, I want it to be relevant for many years, and I want it to be easy to fix. Many can fix an analog mixing deck and if it can't be fixed it can be easily replaced. That's a comforting thought, right there.
