rokshox
Besides being cool as crap... With light playing, would anyone consider the 1962 Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Sorrento Outfit an investment? With only 1962 being made, will it be worth much more later?
charlie brown
No. It may keep up, with inflation, in that regard. But, not as a large money making investment. None of the current Gibson or Epiphones will do what the late '50's early '60's vintage guitars have done, investment wise. Though, "Special/Limited" edition Gibson's will still do much better! So, get the Sorrento, to PLAY! And, enjoy the Hell out of it, that way! CB

Bluemans335
If you want a guitar for an investment, you spend thousands, not hundreds.
jonny_2_owls
Today on eBay uk a '61 reissue casino in royal tan went for £625. That is more than they sold for originally. So maybe these 50th anniversary models will be a bit of an investment in the future.. Especially when they've sold out of the shops. Or maybe the eBay sale today was a one off.... midiman56
Geez ... Look at this nonsense ... http://www.ebay.com/itm/EPIPHONE-CASINO-E-230-TD-2011-50TH-ANNIVERSARY-Model-JOHN-LENNON-NO-TREMOLO-/370727734084?pt=Guitar&hash=item5651184b44 Jim
charlie brown
Yeah, there will always be those folks, that by "limited edition" models, to "flip" them around, for a "fat profit," when they're out of production. But, that doesn't make them "collectible," in the "Vintage" sense, or price range. CB
bobouz
And it's described as a "John Lennon model." Absolutely stupid.
