Izzwardo
I got this TV Yellow LP Special w/P90's and I looked to see the capacitors and I was shocked in how tiny they are compared to the ones in my Standard and SG. Are they smaller because of the P90 pickups? I am thinking about beefing them up with old style capacitors(See Picture) but am not sure if that's a good idea. Thoughts? Gary Moore Tribute
These are the ones you normally see in the vintage traditional & such (I also hate them and remove them ASAP) What your suggesting to put in are a MUCH better capacitor and will give you much creamier out put. Izzwardo
Nice thanks for the replies I think I will swap them out. I swapped the ones out in my 83 Strat and my SG and what a difference! I am kind of Leary about changing anything on this guitar but I know it will make a big difference.
