btoth76
Hello DC3C46! Last time, You've asked for pictures of local food. Here is Pörkölt. :D On the weekend, with a couple of friends we went up to the mountains, I have already posted about a few pictures. We cooked a nice pörkölt from Bugs Bunny and his pals. Cheers... btoth76
Hehe! Had to google the person...no, the only creatures being put into the bowl are rabbits. No humans. (Even though, one of the guys is an accountant, no law has been violated there ;)). Cheers... Bence

btoth76
To be honest, I never liked the rabbit. So when I guys came up with idea of the weekend cooking, I said: "I join You, but don't expect me to try it!" Then I did, and - after all - it tastes just like chicken, which is a perfect meat for Pörkölt. It was a very nice picknick. The only loser of the happening was "Morgó" (Grumpy) the german shepherd: Cheers... Bence

btoth76
Hello! You are welcome! Pörkölt is easy to do. All depends on spicing. It must be thick and hot - with lots of garlic, pepper and chili. The rig is commercial stuff. Every store has it on stock, for around $20+ You can have the complete set. Cheers... Bence

btoth76
Try Rabbit Stifado , a Greek version of rabbit stew. You'll love it! Hello! My neighbour's wife, - at my weekend house - is a greek woman. She makes a fantastic "pörkölt" from snails! It's part of their national cuisine, as She informed me. I love it so much! Delicious food! Might sound very strange to some, but it's really a great meal! Cheers... Bence
